That’s how it all started: still in her own home, where her son-in-law Hans Schießl rebuilt her garage to a little shop, Elisabeth Wirthmann sold fabrics and the necessary notions with great diligence and commitment. It took more than one expansion, and even those were not enough to handle the increasing demand.
In 1997 the Stoffstube could move to the new building in Kiesweg 36. Ever since, there are several friendly and competent employees supporting Lisa Wirthmann and her daughter Barbara Schießl, who manages the business since 1999.
